Tonkin Bamboo (Pseudosasa amabilis), also known as Tea Stick Bamboo, is native to China. Due to its strength and small diameter, it is often used as plant supports. It is naturally resistant to mould and insects, which means it is ideal for outdoor use.

Excellent, strong poles

I previously ordered another species of bamboo pole for a project in the allotment, supporting hardy kiwi vines between trees. Both broke with the wind. I then ordered these extra strong Guadua poles (originally from Colombia) and they are super strong, while also being lightweight. I ordered a 5m and a 4m length. Both arrived safely and well packaged. Job done. I have every faith in them: I can feel the quality and strength in them.

Bamboo panels

We fixed a 6 ft frame onto 4 ft fence and placed 2 panels between posts we also added. Screwing each panel in place, then stained the posts to match bamboo and crosses it’s hard to spot the posts did a good job I think .this looks awesome would highly recommend well worth the money a big Thankyou to all the guys at Moobba 👍
