Tonkin Bamboo (Pseudosasa amabilis), also known as Tea Stick Bamboo, is native to China. Due to its strength and small diameter, it is often used as plant supports. It is naturally resistant to mould and insects, which means it is ideal for outdoor use.

Information |
- Bamboo is naturally tapered. The dimensions specified are always taken from the widest part of the bamboos
- Every pole is unique, so please expect some differences in pattern and colour
- Similar to wood, bamboo expands and contracts, especially when used outdoors. This does mean that some vertical cracking is inevitable, but it does not affect the strength of the bamboo in any way. If using outdoors, we strongly recommend you use a bamboo treatment.
